Practices that meet your nervous system where it actually is. Your voice is the instrument.
A complete library of guided sound practices for returning to the voice you had before the world told you to be quiet.
Before there were apps, there was a sound inside you.
Before language. Before performance. Before you learned to edit yourself.
You had a voice that knew how to settle your nervous system.
Move your grief. Gather your courage.
Signal safety to your whole being.
That voice is still there. It has always been there.
One practice for every state. One sound for every need.
This is not one meditation repeated. Each practice is designed for a specific situation - because your nervous system is asking for something different at 7am, and at midnight, and in the hallway before you walk into the hard meeting.
The Heart Voice Reset
For coming home to yourself, daily.
The practice you return to again and again. Hand on heart. Your nervous system learns what safety feels like - not as concept, but as a living memory in your body. The day's grip loosens. You remember you are here.
When you'd reach for it Every morning. Before the day takes you. Whenever you have been gone too long.
The Vagus Awakening
For when your body needs to shift, right now.
When anxiety is running the show and willpower is not enough. This practice works directly with your body's regulating systems. You don't have to talk yourself down. The signal travels faster than thought.
When you'd reach for it Mid-spiral. Before the panic crests. When your mind cannot reach you.
The Grief Release
For when heaviness needs to move.
Grief is not a problem to solve. It is energy that needs somewhere to go. This practice gives your body permission to let it move - not by talking about it, but by sounding it. What has been stuck begins to flow. You feel lighter, clearer, more yourself.
Be gentle with yourself after. Give yourself transition time.
When you'd reach for it After loss, large or small. When something heavy will not lift. When the tears want a path.
The Activation
For gathering your presence before the hard thing.
Before the meeting. Before the conversation. Before you walk into the room where you need to be fully yourself. Most people try to think their way into presence. This practice has you embody it. You arrive already whole.
When you'd reach for it In the parking lot. The hallway. Anywhere you need to step into something that matters.
The Boundary Sound
For reclaiming your space.
No is not aggression. It is self-respect made audible. This practice helps you locate the sound that lives at your edge - not from the throat alone, but from the whole body. Once you find it, you stop performing yes when you mean no.
When you'd reach for it Before difficult conversations. After overgiving. When your edges have gone soft from being polite for too long.
The Sleep Descent
For the quiet hours when rest is calling.
A practice designed for the dark. Lying down. Sounds that descend with you into stillness. Your body knows how to rest - it just sometimes needs an invitation. This practice meets it there.
If you fall asleep during this one, that is perfect.
When you'd reach for it When the mind will not stop. When the body is tired but bracing. The hour before rest.
The Collective Hum
For when you need to feel connected.
Loneliness is not always about being alone. Sometimes it is about feeling separate even in a crowd. This practice connects you to a larger field - everyone across time who has ever used their voice to heal. You are not the first. You are part of something old.
When you'd reach for it When you feel separate. When you are working alone. When you forget you belong to something.
The Emergency Reset
For right now, when you need to shift immediately.
Bathroom stall before a meeting. Car before walking into something hard. The shortest practice in the toolkit, and the one most people end up using most. Memorize this one. Carry it everywhere.
When you'd reach for it Right now. Whenever you need a way back to yourself in the time it takes to lock a door.

I am Amikaeyla Gaston.
Vocalist, cultural arts ambassador, and founder of the Heart Voice Method. I serve as Executive Director of the International Cultural Arts and Healing Sciences Institute and sit on the Board of Women's Drummers International.
This method grew from my own way back to the voice I lost as a child. That journey took thirty years - through refugee camps, remote villages, healing circles, hospitals, and living rooms across five continents.
Every time, the same thing happened. A person remembered that their voice belonged to them. Something released. Something returned.
What I know about the voice as medicine - I learned it from the people who were barely holding on, and found their way back through sound.
Your sound was never lost. It was waiting.
I would be honored to guide you home to it.
Do the practices for seven days. If they do not meet you, I refund you in full.
I built these practices for the moments when nothing else is working. I know they work - not because I designed them, but because I have lived inside them. In rooms where people were barely holding on. In bodies that had forgotten the sound of their own voice.
I am asking you to trust that. And I want to earn that trust.
Open the journal. Press play. Make the sound.
If after seven days of real engagement this practice is not meeting you, email me at ami@amikaeyla.com and I will refund you in full. This is not a satisfaction survey or a loophole. It is an agreement between two people who both want the same thing: for this to work for you.
- AmikaeylaYour sound is already medicine.
It has always been yours. These practices simply show you how to use it.

What experience do I need?
Everything you need is already inside you. The sounds in these practices are simple, primal, and rooted in your body's own intelligence. If you can breathe, you can do this.
What if I feel awkward making sound?
That feeling is part of the practice - and it moves. You will be guided gently, and by the second or third session, something usually opens. Most people are surprised by what arrives.
Can I do this with others around?
The practices are designed for a private space where you can be fully yourself. Several can also be done very quietly when you need.
How does this differ from the free Heart Voice Reset?
The free practice is a doorway. Heart Voice Foundations is a home - a complete library of guided practices for grief, anxiety, sleep, presence, boundaries, connection, and coming home to yourself, plus teaching lessons that explain the science and story, the journal, the reference card, and the full context to ground your experience.
What format is everything delivered in?
Audio files and PDFs, delivered immediately after purchase. The practices work beautifully as a private podcast feed - add them to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or any podcast app and they will be available any time, even offline.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes - a real one. Do the practices for 7 days. If you genuinely engage and feel this work is not meeting you, email ami@amikaeyla.com and you will receive a full refund. The ask is that you actually try. The promise is that if you do and it does not land, you will not be out anything.
